The “Happy Diamonds” collection was first unveiled by Chopard in 1976. These watches have become famous for featuring floating diamonds that move freely between two transparent sapphire crystals.
There are seven tiny diamonds in all with a total weight of 1.5 carats. This watch also features five cabochon jewels placed on the crown and lugs for the bracelet, along with flattened oval links on the bracelet making it particularly stylish.

Louis-Ulysse Chopard, opened his first watch-making workshop in 1860 in Sonvilier, a small town located in the Swiss Jura Mountains. In 1963, jewelry entrepreneur Karl Scheufele purchased Chopard from from Louis-Ulysse’s grandson Paul-Andre, modernized the company and started focusing on integrating timepieces with stylish jewelry design.
