With its stylish, contemporary lines, the two-tone Baume & Mercier Diamant stainless steel women’s watch will add a dash of modern style to any professional or casual ensemble. Made of high grade stainless steel, the silver watch case features a tank-style design with wide, polished track-like sides that make a great match for slender wrists.
It’s accented by a unique oval gold crown with a single off-centered diamond. The mother of pearl dial offers a mix of shiny gold-tone stick and Arabic numeral markers, Dauphine hands, and a date window at 6 o’clock. The stainless steel bracelet band is composed of three columns of links, with a wider center column mixing polished silver stainless steel and 18 karat gold.
The dial is stamped with Baume & Mercier’s signature Greek letter Phi (Φ), which symbolizes the harmonious lines and a perfect balance in design that the company constantly strives for. It’s long been used to denote the golden number, or ratio, which suggests a natural balance between symmetry and asymmetry.
In 1830, brothers Louis Victor and Pierre-Joseph-Celestin Baume established the Baume Freres Watch firm in the Swiss Jura region. Later William Baume a grandson of the founder met Paul Mercier, a great lover of the arts and they created a business partnership. The contrast of the rigorous, precise Baume with the artistic, free thinking Mercier fused form and function to create today’s traditions of perfection, quality, and luxury.

One of the few authentic Swiss watch manufacturers, Girard-Perregaux utilizes a unique watch-making approach that combines technical mastery with a passion for design. Since his work first caught the eye of Victoria, the future Queen of England, until today, GP has remained a brand sought after by fine watch enthusiasts.
Girard-Perregaux came into being in 1791 when Jean-François Bautte, a talented watchmaker who became well-known for his ultra-thin models, founded his manufactory in Geneva. It was a revolutionary move that housed all the watch-making crafts of the period under one roof.
